Favorites on this browser

The public website saves your chosen homes in this browser’s local storage. This list is separate from an account. It does not automatically move to another browser or device.

You can remove a home from Favorites. Clearing this website’s browser data also removes local favorites and preferences.

Recordings, uploads and public listings

Capture files kept on your local device are different from material uploaded to PeekIn. Uploading sends selected material to cloud storage for processing. Publishing makes the selected property details, accepted room views, photos and public contact information available to visitors.

Before publishing, check for people, personal belongings and information you do not want to share. You must confirm that the home is complete and that you have checked privacy before publishing. Withdrawing removes a listing from public browsing. It does not erase copies that someone may already have downloaded or shared.

Property and account records used by the capture and publishing service are separate from website measurement identifiers.

Property location

A published listing can show an exact or approximate public location. An approximate location may be displayed as an area rather than an exact address. Public maps use the published location setting; private capture evidence is not a public address.

Check the location setting before publishing. If an approximate area is shown, visitors should ask the owner or agent for directions.

Website measurement and your choices

Where measurement is enabled, the interactive website records actions such as viewing a home, opening room views, saving, sharing and choosing Call. These actions help us understand how the website is used. A Call action does not prove that a call connected.

Measurement uses a daily browser cookie and temporarily stores actions in your browser until they can be sent. The daily identifier expires at midnight India Standard Time; an idle measurement session changes after 30 minutes. This is separate from account identity. Measurement events do not include your phone number, account ID, message text, raw IP address or full page URL.

Measurement can include a broad device type, city/region/country supplied by the hosting service, and recognised source or campaign categories. These are not the property’s private capture location.

Open Privacy choices at the bottom of Home to turn off website measurement. Your choice is stored in this browser. PeekIn also respects Global Privacy Control when your browser sends that setting. Disabled or unavailable browser storage prevents browser collection. These information and policy pages do not run measurement scripts.

Hosting, maps, calls and messages

The public website is served through Cloudflare. Uploaded material can be stored in configured cloud storage, including Cloudflare R2. Services receive the information needed to deliver requests, such as network and browser information.

When Apple Maps is loaded, your browser connects to Apple to display the map. Apple’s handling is described in Apple’s privacy information. The map uses the public location shown for the home.

Choosing Call, WhatsApp or text message opens an external phone or messaging service with the published contact number. WhatsApp receives the selected link and any prepared text only after you choose it. You decide whether to send a message. Those services have their own privacy practices.

If you email support, we receive the details you send and use them to handle your request. Do not include passwords or private access codes.

Ask to remove data

For uploaded material, account-related information or a published listing, email [email protected]. Include the property link or enough information to identify your request. We may need to check that you are allowed to request the change.

Files stored on your own device need to be removed separately. Removing a saved home from this browser does not withdraw the listing or delete the owner’s uploaded material.

Ask support about the listing, uploaded files, activity records and backup copies. These need separate checks. No removal deadline is promised here, and copies saved by other people may remain.
